SDO 2.1 Specification Progress
The SDO collaboration has been working to clarify and further enhance the SDO specification. This includes a large number of clarifications as well as several significant improvements.
The most important new features include:
- Open content property creation
- MetaData annotation (constraints)
- Load/Save XML with JAXP Source and Result
- DataType conversion
- Nullable Property control
- HelperContext interface
- sdoXML:many XSD annotation
In addition, there are currently over 50 minor clarifications that have been resolved including the minimum JDK level, which in SDO 2.1 is raised to 1.4.
