Cape Clear

As a leading ESB vendor Cape Clear sees many customer requirements for sophisticated composite SOA applications. As organizations develop and deploy increasingly heterogeneous SOA applications the requirement to accurately characterize the relationships and dependencies among the components becomes critical.
Cape Clear sees the SCA Collaboration as being a comprehensive effort to address this requirement. We look forward to participating in helping to shape the final SCA specification and realize it in an ESB/SOA product context.

Primeton Technologies

Primeton is a leading vendor of component technologies in China. Primeton has invested in the component oriented programming model for more than 5 years. We have built an elite profile of customers, reusable components, and a great component technology base. Our customers include top ten banks, telcos, and manufacturers in China. SCA/SDO is the next wave of Enterprise Programming Model standard. The SCA/SDO Collaboration is a great way to make this technology standardization and going mainstream in the future. Primeton as a technology pioneer in this new wave programming model, we'd like to join and contribute more technology and 5 years experience to the consortium.

Progress Software (formerly Sonic)

Progress Software Corporation (Nasdaq: PRGS; www.progress.com) is a global industry leader providing application infrastructure software for all aspects of the development, deployment, integration and management of business applications. The Progress portfolio includes the Sonic Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Actional SOA management product suites.
Progress has joined the SCA/SDO Collaboration because it is promising initiative to provide a simplified yet powerful component model for SOA. We expect SCA to help move the industry toward a model in which components can be connected and assembled using a common framework whether they're deployed on an application server, across a distributed, ESB environment or connected through Web services.

Red Hat

Red Hat is focused on delivering freedom of choice and value to its customers, and we believe that SCA is an important specification for implementing heterogeneous and open SOA systems for our end users. SOA environments which are well-integrated with Linux and other SOA technologies and platforms are critical for our enterprise clients. To that end, Red Hat looks forward to participating in the development and collaboration of SCA.

RogueWave Software

Rogue Wave Software, a division of Quovadx, Inc. (Nasdaq: QVDX), provides reusable software components and services to professional developers for enterprise-class, high-performance application development.
SCA provides a standard way for Rogue Wave Software to deliver high performance SOA solutions. The Rogue Wave® Hydra Suite currently supports the SDO specification and is highly compatible with the SCA architecture. With Rogue Wave Software's long history of delivering high performance solutions, and our commitment to these standards, we add a unique, valuable perspective to this collaboration.

Software AG

Software AG recognizes that enterprise IT environments are highly heterogeneous. The emergence of SOA has forced IT organizations to address this heterogeneity by relying more heavily on true industry standards to meet their needs. Software AG has a history of and strong commit to open standards and is committed to advancing these standards for the benefit of our customers. The platform and language neutrality of SCA will enable Software AG's customers to build and run service-oriented solutions on platforms regardless of existing vendor commitments.

Sun Microsystems

Sun Microsystems (www.sun.com) is a leading provider of pragmatic SOA, offering a simpler, less-expensive, more-inclusive IT architecture that enables enterprises to align information delivery with their business processes. SCA represents an important area of evolution for SOA and Web Services standards. Sun is committed to providing input to the SCA initiative, and supports a standardization and specification process which is inclusive and yields technology that is simple, easy-to-implement and can succeed in the market.

TIBCO Software

TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ:TIBX) is a leading Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Integration and Business Process Management (BPM) software company that enables real-time business. TIBCO has joined the SCA Collaboration because we believe SCA will give our customers a simpler model for designing, developing and reusing services built using different languages/technologies, such as Java, C/C++, BPEL, and .NET. We are committed to working with other industry leaders on SCA as a set of standards, and to adopt these standards as part of our support for different developer technologies in a common, standards-based platform for SOA.
